Problem installing Vista 5231.2 x64

Hi.

Recently I was installing Vista 5231.2 on VMware - it crashed with some BSOD.

VirtualBox - no mouse; keyboard doesn't work.

VPC - I'm on Win10 64bit, there's no VPC.

How do I get VirtualBox to work? I managed to trace down the problem to 32/64 bits. Mouse COMPLETELY doesn't work on x64.

Any help appreciated.

Did you make sure that the VMware virtual machine had 5.x compatibility? 5231 will BSOD on VMware unless you're using older compatibility or an older version.

I'm using Player. There's no function to change hardware compatibility.

Nevermind. I upgraded to Workstation Pro and installed it there.
